Hours: 9am-5pm Wednesday, Thursday & Friday
Pay: Band 3 - £12.31 per hour, paid weekly
Contract: 6 months with potential for extension

The Orthopaedics Assessments Team at Ballymena Health and Care Centre is recruiting a committed and organised Band 3 Administrative Assistant to join our dynamic healthcare service. The Role
- Competitive Band 3 pay at £12.31 per hour, paid weekly

- Supportive and friendly Orthopaedic Assessment team
- Ideal part-time hours (Wed-Fri, 9am-5pm)
- 6-month contract with potential for extension
- Excellent opportunity to gain or grow NHS administrative experience
Role Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality administrative support to the Orthopaedics Assessment team
- Organise patient appointments, clinic lists and electronic records
- Manage incoming calls, emails and reception enquiries
- Maintain accurate documentation and data entry
- Assist clinicians and management with daily administrative tasks
- Ensure confidentiality and compliance with healthcare standards
Essential Criteria
- 5 GCSEs (Grade C or above), including Maths and English
- At least 1 year of administrative experience
- Strong IT skills (Microsoft Office, data entry, scheduling systems)
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Professional, reliable and patient-focused attitude
