Honeycomb Jobs are delighted to be exclusively partnering with a global European manufacturing company to recruit for a Customer Service Lead at their site which is 20 minutes outside of Hamburg, Germany. This role requires relocation, and the successful candidate must be English and German speaking.

The Client
The client is a leading global manufacturer of cable management systems and accessories with over 60 years' experience in the industry. Originating in Northern Ireland, they have grown to become a market leader in Ireland and the UK. They have expanded their presence in mainland Europe and are now seeking someone to join their dynamic team to help shape the companies' future.

The Role
Unique opportunity for someone who is a seasoned sales support/customer service specialist to work in Europe for an established brand for excellent opportunity for growth and expansion

  • Customer service: You are the first point of contact for customer enquiries and complaints and ensure excellent customer service
  • Order processing: You will be responsible for all administrative activities relating to the processing of customer orders (e.g. preparing quotations, order confirmations, invoicing)
  • Sales support: You will support our Sales Manager Europe in maintaining existing customer relationships and establishing new contacts to expand our customer base
  • Teamwork: You will work closely with colleagues in the warehouse and be part of a dynamic team that works together to provide the best service to our customers.
  • Site development: You contribute your ideas and work continuously on the further development of our site in Wedel.

The Requirements

  • Language skills: Good written and spoken German and English skills to ensure smooth communication with customers and colleagues.
  • Must hold EU passport
  • Seeking to relocate to Germany and begin a career within manufacturing on the outskirts of Hamburg.
  • Training: Completed vocational training or education to Degree / 3rd Level.
  • Professional experience: professional experience in customer service and ideally some experience in sales, preferably in a company in the warehousing or haulage industry.
  • IT affinity: You quickly find your way around IT systems and processes and enjoy continuously developing them from the user's perspective.
  • Management potential: Initial management experience would be an advantage, but we also offer ambitious experts the opportunity to develop into their first management role with us.
  • Team spirit and innovative spirit: The ability to work in a team and the willingness to contribute new ideas and solutions are qualities that we value highly in our team.
