The Role

  • Provide excellent support to Brokers, customers, and internal teams through professional communication channels
  • Resolve phone, email, and online queries on mortgage applications, case tracking, and account details
  • Direct customer calls to relevant teams to ensure efficient resolution
  • Collaborate with Branch, Savings, Underwriting, and Mortgage teams
  • Record all discussions, queries, and agreements in systems like Activate and MSS
  • Maintain strong knowledge of products, procedures, and policies
  • Explain branch savings and mortgage processes to customers or Brokers
  • Adhere to Treating Members Fairly standards
  • Perform reporting and administrative tasks as needed

Essential Criteria

  • 6 GCSE passes (or equivalent) at Grade C or above, including English and Maths
  • Experience within banking or mortgages preferred
  • Customer service experience
  • Ability to use initiative, work under pressure, manage workloads and meet deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office
