What would a typical day look like for you?

  • Client Support: Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial plans, including gathering client information and organising financial data.
  • Research and Analysis: Conduct research on investment options, financial products, and market trends to support financial recommendations.
  • Documentation: Help prepare and maintain accurate records of client meetings, recommendations, and financial plans.
  • Compliance: Ensure that all financial planning activities comply with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Learning and Development: Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance your financial planning skills and industry knowledge.
  • Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to senior financial planners, including scheduling meetings and managing client communications.

About you:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Skills: Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members.
  • Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a small team environment and a willingness to learn from experienced professionals.
  • Ethics: High level of integrity and commitment to ethical standards in financial planning.
  • Experience: Previous experience or internships in finance or related fields is beneficial but not required. You will however have the desire to commence a long-term career within Financial Planning.
