Honeycomb Jobs is delighted to be working with a client, to recruit a permanent part time (21hrs per week) Fundraising Administrator, based in North Belfast.

The Client - Our client provides direct assistance to those in need, caring for the homeless, providing social housing and other social support activities.

The Role - Will be reporting into the Fundraising and Communications Executive and will provide excellent donor care and to support the administrative needs of the fundraising department, including individual giving campaigns, corporate, grants and trusts. Duties will include but will not be limited to:

  • Acting as point of contact for donors on phone and email.
  • Processing and tracking of individual donations.
  • Preparing and submitting their Direct Debit file on a monthly basis.
  • Issuing thank you letters to donors and responding to donors' queries.
  • Preparing donation summary and income tracking reports in line with financial processes.
  • Supporting the administrative tasks for the organisation's Corporate and Grant and Trust income including tracking opportunities, managing relevant deadlines, liaising with relevant stakeholders around expenditure, supporting on the administration of relevant reports.
  • General fundraising administrative tasks as they arise for the department.

The Person

As the successful candidate you will have the following background and experience:

Essential:

  • Minimum of two years' administrative experience, ideally in the charity sector working in a fundraising department.
  • Strong IT experience to include all Microsoft Office packages.
  • Experience using CRM systems, particularly Salesforce.
