Honeycomb is assisting our client, a prestigious global Professional Services firm, with the recruitment of a HR Systems Specialist. This is a full time and permanent role.

The Client

A prestigious Global Professional Services company with a Grade A office based in Belfast city centre.

The Role

The HR Specialist, People Systems will perform a variety of day-to-day administrative Human Resource Information System (HRIS) functions ensuring data integrity and the processing and reporting of HR data; handle problems and non-routine situations by determining the approach or action to take and interpreting guidelines, procedures, policies, and practices.

* Confirm accuracy and integrity of all data entered, maintain data in HRIS systems and databases and assure information is available on a timely basis

* Perform group data updates, exports, imports, clean-ups, and research/report on any data discrepancies

* Deliver routine daily/weekly/monthly reporting and respond to basic to intermediate ad hoc data requests

* Provide assistance and support other team members on difficult assignments and/or problems as directed

* Coordinate, schedule and track progress of specialized work projects or departmental functions

* Respond verbally or in writing to inquiries, complaints or problems providing information requiring comprehensive knowledge on the system

* Act as primary contact for assigned function with outside organizations or other departments; respond to technical administrative questions and ensures necessary follow up

* Prepare or direct preparation of minutes, notices, manuals, agendas, and correspondence with all supporting documentation, requiring application of specialized knowledge of the assigned function

* Participate in special projects with staff as directed

Essential Criteria

* BS degree in HR or Information management with strong experience in HRIS/IS; or equivalent work experience

* Strong mathematical/analytical aptitude

* Excellent data mining, manipulation and analytical skills

* Strong computer skills; high proficiency in MS Excel (with extensive experience in and knowledge of formulas and functions, pivot tables and charts)

* Knowledge of principles, practices and standards of human resource administration in assigned area

* Extensive HR systems reporting, HR process, and project management experience required

* Highly organized with ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

* Excellent problem solving, and time-management skills
