Full-Time | Temporary/Ongoing
£12.71 per hour
Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm
Are you organised, reliable, and ready to make a difference in a busy healthcare environment? We are currently recruiting for a Band 2 Clerical Officer to join the team at Ulster Hospital in Belfast.
This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience within a respected healthcare setting, providing essential administrative support to ensure the smooth running of services.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide general clerical and administrative support.
- Greeting patients upon arrival
- Manage patient records and data entry accurately.
- Manage incoming calls and enquiries in a professional manner.
- Assist with scheduling, filing, and correspondence.
- Support clinical and administrative staff as required.
Essential Criteria
- Minimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) including Maths and English
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Desirable
- Previous clerical or administrative experience (preferably in a healthcare setting)
Additional Information
- Immediate availability is highly desirable.
- Full-time hours: 9am - 5pm, Monday to Friday
- Competitive hourly rate of £12.71
