Honeycomb are delighted to be working with the Western Health and Social Care Trust to recruit for a Band 3 Administrator. This position is based in Derry/Londonderry and offers an immediate start. It is initially for a period of 2 months.

- Pay rate- Band 3- £12.75 per hour
- Weekly pay and immediate start
- Temporary contract for the period of 2 months initially
- Monday- Friday- 9 am- 5 pm

Key Responsibilities
- Provide a professional and welcoming reception service to service users and visitors
- Deliver comprehensive administrative support to the team and associated professionals
- Manage diaries, arrange meetings, venues, travel, hospitality, and take minutes as required
- Maintain efficient filing and brought-forward systems
- Handle incoming mail and draft routine correspondence
- Liaise with internal departments, hospitals, external agencies and the public
- Manage telephone enquiries professionally and efficiently
- Produce letters, reports, memoranda and presentations (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Assist in preparing policies, statistical reports and departmental documentation
- Maintain stationery stock and office supplies
- Update and search client databases (e.g., SOSCARE)
- Contribute to data collection and statistical collation
- Operate petty cash systems in line with Trust policy
- Assist with financial reconciliations and requests
- Participate in ongoing training and development
Essential Criteria
Qualifications & Experience
You must meet one of the following:
- 5 GCSEs (Grade A-C) including English Language (or equivalent) AND 1 year administrative/clerical experience including cash handling
OR
- NVQ Level II in Business & Administration (or equivalent) AND 1 year administrative/clerical experience including cash handling
OR
- 3 years administrative/clerical experience including cash handling
Knowledge & Skills
You will demonstrate:
- Knowledge of 16+ Services
- Understanding of maintaining confidentiality
- Experience with filing systems
- Ability to arrange meetings and take accurate minutes
- Knowledge of cash handling procedures
- Ability to work on your own initiative
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Desirable Criteria
- OCR Stage 2 Text Processing (Part 1) & Stage 2 Word Processing/Typing (Part 2) or equivalent
- Experience using SOSCARE/PARIS systems
