Location: Knockbracken
Hours: Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm
Rate: £12.33 per hour
Contract: Full-time Temporary

The Northern Ireland Ambulance Service (NIAS) is seeking a dedicated Band 3 HR Administrator to support our busy Human Resources Team in Knockbracken. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a vital public service, helping us support the staff who care for our communities every day.
The Role
As part of our HR team, you will play a key role in:
- Providing efficient administrative support across a range of HR functions
- Maintaining and updating digital information systems
- Assisting with recruitment, employee queries, and general HR processes
- Communicating with internal teams and external partners
- Helping ensure our HR operations run smoothly and professionally
Essential Qualifications & Experience
You must meet one of the following qualification pathways:
Qualifications / Registration (Application Form Shortlisting)
5 GCSEs (A-C) including English Language + 1 year's admin or customer service experience at Band 2 or equivalent
OR
NVQ Level 2 in Administration/Customer Service + GCSE English Language (A-C) + 1 year's admin or customer service experience at Band 2 or equivalent
OR
GCSE English (A-C) plus 2 years' admin/customer service experience at Band 2 or equivalent
IT Skills
Minimum 6 months' experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook)
Essential Skills & Abilities
We're looking for someone who can demonstrate:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to build strong working relationships
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines
- Confidence in maintaining digital information systems
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A clear understanding of the role of a Human Resources function
