Mental Health Management Offices, Downshire Site, Downpatrick
18.75 hours per week (2.5 days)
3-month contract (initially, with possible extension)

We have an exciting opportunity for a Temporary Part-Time Band 3 General Secretary to join our Mental Health Management team based at the Downshire Site in Downpatrick.

This rewarding role offers the chance to support our mental health services by providing professional, high-quality secretarial and administrative assistance within a busy management office. You'll be part of a friendly, supportive team helping ensure the smooth running of essential mental health services.

The Role

  • Providing day-to-day secretarial and administrative support to the Mental Health Management team
  • Managing correspondence, reports, and documentation accurately and efficiently
  • Maintaining records and scheduling meetings
  • Handling sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues across the service

Essential Criteria

  • 4 GCSEs (or equivalent qualification)
    Previous experience in an administrative or secretarial role
    Excellent communication, organisational, and IT skills
    Ability to manage priorities and work independently
    A professional and sensitive approach to confidential matters
