Honeycomb is delighted to partner with a well‑established financial services organisation in Northern Ireland to recruit a Customer Service Advisor for its Ballymena branch. This full‑time, fixed‑term position (9-12 months) is an excellent chance to join a respected company known for its community focus and dedication to delivering outstanding customer support.
The Role
As a key front‑of‑house contact, you will greet customers warmly and provide clear, helpful guidance across a wide range of banking services. Your role is central to ensuring that every customer enjoys a smooth, positive, and confidence‑building experience when visiting the branch.
Main Duties
- Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring interactions are professional, friendly, and solution‑driven.
- Handle customer queries and clearly outline available banking products and services.
- Provide tailored recommendations based on each customer's needs and circumstances.
- Assist with account openings, updates to personal information, lodgements, and withdrawals.
- Process cash and transactions accurately while following all relevant compliance and security procedures.
- Complete daily balancing tasks and maintain thorough administrative records.
- Encourage and support customers in using digital and self‑service banking channels.
- Work collaboratively with team members to maintain a positive, efficient branch environment.
- Build strong customer relationships and consistently reflect the organisation's values.
About You
You enjoy working with people, communicate with confidence, and take pride in delivering excellent service. You work accurately, manage your time well, and thrive in a busy, team‑oriented environment.
Essential Requirements
- At least 2 years of previous experience in a customer‑facing role.
- At least 6 GCSEs (Grade C or above), including English and Maths.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent accuracy and attention to detail, particularly in cash‑handling.
- Good organisational ability and comfort working in a fast‑moving setting.
Desirable
- Experience in banking, financial services, or a cash‑handling retail position.
- Full, clean UK driving licence.
