Honeycomb are delighted to be working with the prestigious Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service to recruit a Temporary Business Support Administrator for their Head office site in Lisburn. This is a Temporary Full-time role.

  • Hourly Rate- £15.38 per hour with Weekly Pay

The Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service is seeking to recruit a Temporary Full-Time Business Support Administrator to join its Corporate Governance and Assurance Team based at its Lisburn Headquarters.

This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and motivated individual to contribute to a busy and professional office environment, supporting key governance and assurance functions.

Main Duties:

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Corporate Governance and Assurance Team
  • Be First point of contact for anyone calling or visiting the NIFRS headquarters.
  • Manage, investigate, and respond to corporation wide fixed penalty notices.
  • Manage correspondence, documentation, and records accurately and efficiently.
  • Support meetings, including preparation of agendas and documentation.
  • Assist with data handling and reporting using Microsoft Office applications.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to organisational policies and procedures.

Essential Criteria:

  • Minimum of 5 GCSEs (Grades A-C), including English and Maths (or equivalent)
  • At least 2 years' experience working in a busy office environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (e.g. Word, Excel, Outlook)

Desirable Criteria:

  • Experience of minute taking
