Honeycomb is pleased to partner with a valued client to appoint a Commercial Account Executive to join their team based in Belfast. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a well-established organisation that continues to grow within a dynamic and evolving sector.
The Commercial Account Executive is a key role for the business. The purpose of the role is to develop new commercial accounts and drive sales growth while proactively nurturing and expanding existing commercial clients in line with the firm's business development plans. You will support the firm's wider goals by consistently demonstrating strong business development capability, building relationships, identifying opportunities and delivering a high standard of service throughout the customer journey. Duties of this role include:
- Build and grow relationships with existing commercial clients while targeting new business through effective promotion of current products
- Develop new commercial products in line with market trends and client requirements
- Plan, own and deliver commercial promotions and sales campaigns
- Support short, medium and long term product and sales strategy to maintain market competitiveness through strong service
- Liaise with account handlers to complete sales documentation and hand over accurately and on time to policies and underwriting
- Take ownership of client accounts, resolving queries efficiently and maintaining positive long term relationships
- Gather customer feedback and respond appropriately to improve service and outcomes
- Identify and manage conflicts of interest in line with firm standards
- Support departmental KPIs and sales targets set by the Sales Manager
- Operate fully in line with firm procedures, FCA requirements and Consumer Duty obligations
- Maintain ethical standards and professional competence through training, competence and ongoing development
- Carry out other reasonable duties as required
The Right Person for this role will have at least two years' experience in Commercial Insurance, be CIP qualified, with an existing book of business. They will bring excellent customer service and strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to gather and analyse information from customers and tailor explanations to match each individual's level of understanding. They will be commercially minded, able to assess situations from a business perspective. They will combine strategic and operational planning across short, medium and long term priorities and will be confident influencing and persuading others, building trust and supporting successful outcomes for both the customer and the business.
The Package for this role includes a salary ranging from £35000- £45000, dependant on experience, commission and bonus, healthcare, pension contribution and a fantastic team culture. This role will require you to manage your own diary and be in the office a few times a week and out meeting clients on the others, Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm, with an hour lunch break.
