Honeycomb is delighted to be partnering with one of the leading Corporate and Commercial Law firms in Ireland to recruit for a Company Secretary to join their expanding Governance & Compliance team. The Role

The Company Secretary will support senior stakeholders across a portfolio of corporate clients, ensuring high-quality governance and compliance standards are consistently met. Typical duties will include:

  • Preparing and filing statutory returns with the CRO and other regulatory bodies

  • Board and committee support including minute-taking, agenda preparation, and pack distribution

  • Maintaining statutory registers and company records

  • Assisting with incorporations, annual returns, and company changes

  • Ensuring compliance with Companies Act requirements

  • Liaising with senior internal stakeholders, directors, regulators, and external advisors

  • Supporting governance projects, workflow tracking, and process improvements

Essential Criteria

  • 3-5 years' experience in a Company Secretarial or Corporate Governance role

  • Strong knowledge of Irish company law and CRO filings

  • Experience preparing minutes, agendas, and board papers

  • Proficiency with entity management or board-management software

  • Excellent organisational, communication & Microsoft Office skills

  • High attention to detail and the ability to work with discretion
