Honeycomb is delighted to be partnering with one of the top banking organisations in Northern Ireland to recruit a Customer Service Advisor for their Newry branch. This is a temporary ongoing position that offers an excellent opportunity to join a business recognised for its dedication to outstanding customer service and strong community values.
Role Summary
As a valued member of the customer service team, you'll act as the first point of contact for customers, ensuring every interaction is welcoming and professional. The role will involve supporting customers with banking queries, processing transactions, and managing cash in a secure and accurate manner. This is a full-time post, Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver a consistently high level of customer service, handling enquiries in a professional and timely manner.
* Process cash transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and payments, accurately and efficiently.
* Follow strict cash-handling and security procedures, ensuring daily balancing aligns with audit requirements.
* Actively inform customers about the bank's products and services, encouraging the use of digital and self-service channels where appropriate.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a supportive and positive branch environment.
About You
We are looking for an organised and attentive individual who is confident with cash handling and committed to delivering excellent in-person customer experiences.
Essential Requirements
- Proven experience in a customer service or customer-facing role.
* High levels of accuracy and dependability when managing cash.
* Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to prioritise tasks and work efficiently in a busy environment.
Desirable Requirements
- Background in banking, retail environments involving cash, or financial services.
* Hold a valid, full UK driving licence.
