Honeycomb is delighted to be working with our client, a top public organisation, to recruit for a Facilities Executive. This is initially a temporary role with a view to permanency. This is an exciting time to join this organisation as they continue to grow and develop their facilities team. The client is based within Belfast city centre with attractive amenities and parking on site.
The role of Facilities Executive is a varied role with no two days the same. The main responsibilities involve maintaining facilities and surrounding areas, ensuring periodic cleaning and upkeep. Provide essential security support where necessary, assisting with deliveries, porterage, and transportation. Adhering to Health and Safety protocols is a vital part of this role.
Essential criteria for this position are to hold a full clean UK driver's license and will require you to go through an Enhanced Access NI check. For you to excel in this role you should be punctual, motivated, and able to work off your own initiative. This can be quite a physically demanding role so it would require someone who is able bodied in good physical condition. Previous facilities/operations experience is desired but not essential.
This role comes with an hourly rate of £12.21, on site parking and opportunity for a permanent position. The hours of work are full time based on a set shift pattern with competitive overtime rates including 1.5X for standard overtime and 2X for Sunday Shifts where required.
