Honeycomb is delighted to be working with BSO to recruit for a Band 4 Helpdesk Analyst to join their busy team for a temporary contract of 3 months.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Helpdesk Analyst to join a dynamic and forward-thinking organisation, Business Services Organisation (BSO), based in the heart of Belfast City Centre. The Role

As a Service Desk Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of IT services for key public sector clients. This is a hands-on role that requires excellent problem-solving skills and a customer-centric approach. Key responsibilities include:

  • Handling calls from Health Service staff, Northern Ireland Fire Service, and other BSO customers.
  • Transcribing calls into tickets with a high degree of accuracy for various resolver groups.
  • Achieving first-line fixes for known issues and providing technical expertise to customers.
  • Offering guidance and feedback to customers while operating in an ISO20000 aligned environment.
  • Liaising with customers to gather necessary details for logged incidents.

The Person

  • The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver with a passion for IT and customer service.

Essential:

  • Experience in a Service Desk or similar environment.
  • Experience dealing with direct customers, either face-to-face or over the phone.
  • Familiarity with Windows systems and Microsoft Office applications.

Desirable:

  • Some degree of IT experience in account or system administration.
  • A willingness to learn and develop within the role.
