Honeycomb is partnering with a fast growing Fintech company to recruit for an Office Manager for their Belfast city centre office. The role is full time and permanent.
The Client
Our client is a fast growing fintech company who have been recognised as part of Tech Nation's future Fifty programme, and acknowledged as a Green Financing Company. They are based in Belfast city centre and have been growing year on year.
The Role
The Office Manager will play a key role in ensuring a productive and organised environment, overseeing daily operations, managing office resources. Your role will contribute to team morale and efficiency, making sure the office is a great place to work. Typical duties will include:
Office Operations
- Manage day-to-day office activities with a strong onsite presence (5 days per week in the office).
- Meet and greet visitors to the Office.
- Serve as the go-to person for all office-related queries, ensuring an efficient and well-supported workplace.
- Be the heartbeat of the office, ensuring the day-to-day running of the workspace is smooth, organised and welcoming
- Manage all incoming deliveries, making sure they're collected promptly and handled appropriately
- Keep the office well stocked with groceries, healthy snacks and drinks, as well as all essential office supplies
- Proactively maintain a clean, tidy and well-organised workspace to consistently high standards
- Create a warm and positive experience for new joiners, helping them feel welcome from day one
- Supporting the Talent team with on-site interviews.
Facilities Management
- Own the smooth running of office facilities to support a productive workplace.
- Act quickly on any ad-hoc office issues, from Wi-Fi and air conditioning to furniture or equipment
- Build strong working relationships with external service providers, confidently raising and escalating issues when needed
Resource & IT Management
- Maintain office supplies, work closely with Belfast based Head of IT to manage IT hardware setups/returns in London, and oversee general admin support.
Event Coordination
- Contributing to company meetings, office events, and company-wide initiatives.
- Be a key member of The Culture Committee
- Support and help organise team social events, championing the social calendar and encouraging team participation
Essential Criteria
- At least 1 year office management / office coordinator experience
- It competent
- Excellent organisation and communication skills
