Honeycomb are delighted to be working with the Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service to recruit a Part-time Service Delivery Administrator. This position offers 18 hours per week and is based in Cookstown. The duration of this role is for up to 6 months with the possibility of extension.

Pay rate: £13.97 per hour
Hours: 18 hours per week
Contract: 6-month contract with the possibility of extension
As a Service Delivery Administrator, you will be key to ensuring the smooth and efficient running of daily operations. Working closely with both internal teams and external partners, you will support effective coordination, communication, and administrative processes across the Area Command.
Main Duties:
- Manage diaries, meetings, and events, ensuring effective scheduling and organisation
- Act as a central point of contact for internal and external communications, responding to queries efficiently
- Maintain accurate records, filing systems, and databases
- Prepare high-quality reports, presentations, and correspondence within required deadlines
- Coordinate training schedules to support operational delivery
- Assist with performance reporting, assurance processes, and monitoring of key indicators
- Keep up to date records on internal databases
- Manage petty cash and support financial processes in line with governance requirements
- Assist with procurement activities, including ordering, stock control, and budget tracking
- Process expense claims and ensure compliance with financial procedures
- Provide confidential HR administrative support
- Process community safety requests and maintain accurate associated records
Essential Criteria
You must meet one of the following:
- Level 3 qualification (e.g. Business Administration, IT) + 1 year relevant experience
- OR 5 GCSEs (including English & Maths) + 3 years relevant experience
- OR 5 years' experience in a busy administrative role
Desirable
- Experience in a large, multi-site organisation
- Public sector or local government experience
- Full UK/EU driving licence (or access to transport)
