The Role
The Partnership and Development Coordinator will play a pivotal role in securing the long-term sustainability and growth of the organisations network across Northern Ireland. Reporting to the Community and Wellbeing Manager, the postholder will drive strategic funding, corporate partnerships, income generation and excellence in project delivery.
This is a dynamic and outward-facing role combining office-based work with outreach and fieldwork across both urban and rural communities. The successful candidate will be commercially aware, highly motivated and passionate about community impact.
Key Responsibilities

Lead on the preparation and submission of high-quality funding and sponsorship applications

Identify and secure micro-funding opportunities to support local project delivery

Develop and maintain a comprehensive funding database

Create and manage a funding planner and submission schedule

Identify and develop corporate sponsorship and partnership opportunities

Initiate engagement with business communities and potential donors

Prepare and deliver presentations to potential funders and donors

Contribute to financial strategy planning for long-term sustainability

Support the development of marketing materials and fundraising collateral

Develop and update website content and digital resources

Produce a monthly newsletter and quarterly corporate newsletter

Plan and initiate innovative projects

Coordinate project delivery and engagement activities

Develop strategic relationships with partners across public, private and third sector bodies
The Person
Essential Critea
-
Proven experience of successful income generation, sponsorship or marketing
-
Demonstrated success in preparing and submitting grant funding applications
-
Experience developing and managing strategic partnerships
-
Experience delivering events and community-based activities
-
Experience working with public and/or private sector funders
-
Understanding of community and voluntary sector issues in Northern Ireland

Strong networking skills with ability to build partnerships across sectors

Experience developing and publishing content on social media

Full, clean driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes
