Honeycomb is delighted to partner with an established brokerage to recruit for a Personal Lines Broker. This role would suit someone who'd like to join an expanding business and who wants to get rewarded for a job well done, along with receiving a fantastic benefits package. Ideal candidate would have a minimum of 12 to 24 months personal lines experience and be APA qualified. This is a permanent role, with lots of progression opportunities.
The Client
Our client is an established independent insurance brokerage based in the Republic of Ireland with a heritage dating back to the late 1950s. The firm provides both personal and commercial cover through a multi insurer approach, positioning itself as a customer advocate on quotations, renewals and claims support.
The Role
Typical duties will include:
- Responding to customer enquiries and managing the day to day servicing of policies from start to finish
- Working confidently with minimal supervision, staying resilient in a busy environment
- Advising on and selling motor, home and van insurance alongside relevant add on products
- Supporting lead generation activity and wider sales campaigns to drive new business
Desirable Criteria
- A recognised insurance qualification with strong regulatory awareness
- Professional telephone manner with high standards of customer care
- Proven experience supporting insurance customers and servicing personal lines policies
- Exposure to commercial insurance is beneficial but not essential
- Strong communication skills to build relationships with clients and insurer panels
- Team focused approach, with the initiative to manage workload and meet deadlines
- Confident telesales and customer service capability, with a focus on quality outcomes
- Well organised, with strong attention to detail and accurate record keeping
- Energetic and self disciplined, bringing a positive and motivated attitude
- Strong IT skills, with experience of insurance systems a plus though full training can be provided
- Grandfathered, APA or CIP qualified and able to meet Fitness and Probity standards
