Honeycomb is delighted to partner with an established organisation to recruit for a Personal Lines Executive. This role would suit someone who'd like to join an expanding business and who wants to get rewarded for a job well done, along with receiving a fantastic benefits package. Ideal candidate would have a minimum of 12 to 24 months personal lines experience. This is a permanent role, with lots of progression opportunities, especially into Commercial.

The Client
Our client is a leading independent insurance brokerage with a substantial presence across the UK and Ireland who are seeking a talented professional to join their expanding team. With offices in key locations including Cork, Kerry, Waterford and Dublin, this firm is renowned for providing tailored insurance solutions to a diverse client base.

The Role
The role as a Personal Lines Executive will mean you are responsible for all aspects of clients Motor and Household Insurance requirements. Suitable candidates will be self motivated and customer focused and willing to work as part of a team. The role involves contact with existing and new customers.

Typical duties will include:

  • Manage all aspects of clients' motor and household insurance policies
  • Provide advice and support to clients on policy cover, renewals and adjustments
  • Respond promptly to queries from existing and new customers
  • Process new business, mid-term changes and renewals accurately
  • Deliver a high standard of customer service to retain and develop client relationships
  • Work collaboratively within the team to achieve service targets and objectives
  • Maintain accurate client records and documentation

  • Self motivated, enthusiastic and solution focused
  • Committed to having good attention to detail and good time management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to include a confident phone manner
  • The ability to work as part of a team and use your own initiative to meet deadlines
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Constantly improving your negotiation skills and problem solving abilities
  • Excellent IT skills, including experience of Applied Relay Software Broker systems
  • Delivering first class customer care, in order to maintain existing client relationships in addition to adding new clients
  • APA or CIP qualified is desirable, or the desire to work towards these
