The Company

Our client is a well-established, organisation working across Northern Ireland and Ireland. The organisation delivers a range of high-profile programmes in partnership with local government and community stakeholders.

The Role

The Programme Support Executive will provide essential administrative, digital and event support to a flagship, programme delivered in partnership with local authorities. Working closely with the Project Manager and wider delivery team, this role is central to the smooth and successful delivery of the programme.

Key responsibilities includes:

  • Supporting the development and maintenance of financial, monitoring and reporting records

  • Planning and organising key programme meetings

  • Identifying and implementing improved administrative procedures to enhance efficiency

  • Supporting recruitment and vetting of programme entrants and issuing judging schedules

  • Producing and editing programme materials, including the annual awards brochure

  • Assisting with the preparation of reports and information materials

  • Attending and contributing to meetings with project participants, judges and stakeholders

  • Supporting site visits and judging activity as required

  • Acting as a helpdesk contact for liaison officers and judges during the judging phase

  • Assisting with website updates and maintenance of programme data systems

  • Supporting the development of presentations and event scripts

  • Liaising with communications colleagues during the judging period and awards event

  • Assisting with event logistics, including invitations, trophies, certificates, rooming lists and table plans in advance of the awards ceremony

The Person

Essential Criteria

  • Practical IT skills, including experience using Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

  • Experience updating websites and databases

  • Strong organisational and time management skills with excellent attention to detail

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • High standards of literacy and numeracy

  • Ability to build professional relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders

  • Self-motivated, organised and able to work independently as well as part of a team

  • Willingness to travel as required for programme delivery
