Honeycomb is assisting a Digital Information Management company based in Rathfarnham, South Dublin, to recruit for a Business Development rep. This is a full time and permanent role, with a half day finish on a Friday. Hybrid working is offered and there is free onsite parking at the office.
The Client
Our client is a leading player in Building Information Management (BIM) operating in the Construction / Property sector in Ireland for almost 20 years. They are recognised for their strong knowledge and commitment to providing a quality service to their clients. The Role
Reporting to the Head of Sales, the Sales Development Rep (SDR) will play a key role in securing new business, including telesales intros to prospects, qualification, and delivery of new business demos. To succeed in this role you will be a salesperson with a proactive hunter mentality. You will be able to develop a pipeline of new logo engagements, present our differentiators in a concise and compelling way, build relationships with prospects and close new business deals to achieve revenue targets.
Specific duties include:
- Achieve agreed sales targets and metrics such as, sales revenue, demonstrations and activity rate.
- Engage construction professionals through phone, email, and other channels to understand their challenges and identify opportunities to solve them. Follow-up with prospects over multiple conversations to nurture potential leads.
- Arrange customer meetings to demonstrate the Company's solutions, via pro-active outbound business development activity, predominately via telephone. You will be expected to make a high volume of calls per day.
- Lead and deliver the demonstrations.
- Prepare and negotiate proposals and tenders, in line with defined pricing strategy
- Update HubSpot CRM system in a timely and accurate manner
- Manage time to ensure all tasks are completed within agreed timelines.
Essential Criteria

- You have experience managing a high-volume pipeline in a B2B sales environment.
- Ability to produce high outbound activity on a daily basis.

- 1+ years of experience in software sales, ideally SaaS or Construction
