Trainee Underwriter

Honeycomb is thrilled to be partnering with a growing specialist insurance underwriting agency with offices across Ireland and the UK in the search for a Trainee Underwriter to join their team in Enniskillen.

The Job

Seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join a dynamic commercial underwriting team as a Trainee Underwriter. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong analytical skills and a keen interest in insurance to develop a career in underwriting. You'll support experienced underwriters in assessing risk, preparing quotations, reviewing documentation, and managing broker relationships. Training will be provided, with ongoing mentorship and professional development opportunities.

Your Package/Benefits:

• Starting salary of £28,000, dependant on experience
• Full - time permanent role (Monday - Friday)
• Hybrid working pattern (3 days at home, 2 in office) after training
• 25 days holiday + stats (extra ROI bank holiday)

• Strong numerical, analytical, and communication skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Eager to learn, with a proactive approach
• Personal/commercial lines insurance experience is essential
