How to Survive Exam Results Day

How to Survive Exam Results Day

Don’t Panic: This is easier said that done but feeling anxious or worried on exam results day is very normal. The important thing to know is that feeling this way won’t have an influence on your results. Just remember, you’ve already put the hard work in so there’s no need to be worried.

Talk to Your Peers: No matter how anxious or worried you might be feeling, the chances are your friends are feeling exactly the same way. Talking to your friends can help relieve some of the tension and help you realise that you aren’t alone.

Explore Your Options: You might not get the results you were expecting – and that’s ok. There are lots of different options. Everyone takes a different path in their career whether it be further education, apprenticeships or straight into full time work. Just remember that exam results won’t dictate the rest of your career – there are many different paths you can take.

What to Do Next: If you are unsure about what to do next, or if you are seeking a temporary position to help you through University or a full time role, or if you just need some career/CV/or interview advice in general.
