Mortgage & Protection Administrator

Honeycomb is delighted to be partnering with a well-established and growing financial services firm to recruit for a Mortgage & Protection Administrator. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong administration experience who is keen to develop their career within mortgages and financial services.

With continued growth, they are looking to bring in an organised and detail-focused administrator to support their advisory team.

The Role

The Mortgage & Protection Administrator will play a key role in supporting advisers with the day-to-day running of the branch, ensuring cases are managed efficiently, compliantly, and to a high standard.

You will be heavily involved in managing applications from submission through to completion, ensuring everything is right first time and delivered within agreed timelines.

Key Responsibilities

Administration & Organisation

  • Manage diaries, trackers, and daily workflow to ensure smooth operations
  • Handle emails, meeting coordination, and general administrative duties
  • Support overall branch operations, including task allocation and updates
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records at all times

Case Management & Compliance

  • Process mortgage and protection applications accurately and efficiently
  • Work closely with advisers to ensure seamless case handovers
  • Maintain documentation and ensure all compliance requirements are met
  • Support business assurance processes and complete remedial actions where required
  • Ensure suitability letters and advice documentation are completed within deadlines
  • Escalate any complaints in line with company procedures

Customer Service

  • Coordinate client appointments and ensure all details are captured correctly
  • Provide regular updates to clients throughout the application process
  • Deliver a professional and welcoming client experience
  • Handle incoming enquiries in a timely and effective manner

Business Support

  • Assist with fee processing and general business administration
  • Support annual review scheduling and referral activity
  • Keep internal systems and trackers updated
  • Contribute to team meetings and wider business initiatives

The Person

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • High attention to detail with a "right first time" mindset
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • A team player who enjoys working in a collaborative environment
  • Proactive, with the ability to take ownership of tasks
