Honeycomb is delighted to be working with a large public sector organisation to recruit an Administrator. This role offers an immediate start and is initially for three months, with the opportunity for extension. The role is based in Greater Belfast.

The Role

As an Administrator, you will work alongside a number of teams to provide administrative support, including reception cover, procurement support, and the coordination of training and travel.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Processing travel expense claims and checking the accuracy of travel information
  • Monitoring travel expenditure and preparing reports
  • Managing a shared inbox and responding to email queries
  • Supporting contract and procurement activities through accurate data input
  • Booking flights and accommodation for staff and individuals working on behalf of the organisation
  • Providing reception cover and acting as the first point of contact for visitors
  • Managing building access and maintaining security awareness
  • Organising meeting room bookings and liaising with senior staff members to coordinate meetings, courses and events
  • Receiving and sorting incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries
  • Monitoring office stocks of equipment and supplies and replenishing when necessary

The Person

The right person for this role will be an experienced Administrator or Receptionist who is available for an immediate start.

Essential Criteria

  • A minimum of five GCSEs, including English Language and Maths (Grade C or above), or a higher qualification
  • 18 months' relevant experience, including administrative duties within an office environment
  • One year's experience working with Microsoft Office Suite

Package & Benefits

  • £12.75 per hour, equating to approximately £24,531 per annum based on 37 hours per week
  • Immediate start
  • 37 hours per week
  • Monday to Friday
  • Three-month temporary contract with the opportunity for extension
  • Based in Greater Belfast
