Honeycomb is partnering with a well-established banking organisation to recruit a Senior Collections and Recoveries Advisor for their Belfast City Centre office. This temporary position (6-12 months) offers an excellent opportunity to join a supportive team within a respected employer.

The Role

Working as part of the Collections and Recoveries team, you will be responsible for supporting customers who are experiencing financial challenges. The role is predominantly inbound telephone-based, requiring you to manage a high volume of customer conversations with professionalism and understanding.

Key duties include:

  • Speaking with customers to assess their current financial position and identify appropriate solutions
  • Handling complex and sensitive discussions in a calm, empathetic manner
  • Agreeing on affordable repayment arrangements tailored to individual circumstances
  • Providing information on available debt resolution options and support measures
  • Referring customers to relevant external agencies where additional advice may be beneficial
  • Monitoring customer arrangements and making amendments where required
  • Ensuring all interactions are conducted in line with regulatory and company standards

The Person

  • Previous experience in a customer-facing, banking, financial services, or collections environment
  • An understanding of debt management, recoveries, collections, or asset finance processes
  • Excellent communication and listening skills
  • The ability to build rapport and manage difficult conversations effectively
  • A customer-focused mindset with a practical approach to problem-solving

The Package

  • Standard working hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm
  • Hourly rate of £16.55per hour
  • Hybrid working available upon successful completion of training
  • Expected start date: August 2026
