Honeycomb is pleased to be partnering with a well-established construction business to recruit a Contracts Administrator for their Ballymena office. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing company involved in a range of fantastic local projects, offering long-term career prospects within a busy and supportive team environment.

The Contracts Administrator will play an important role within the organisation, acting as a central support point for the wider contracts team and assisting with the smooth running of construction projects. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining internal systems, ensuring documents are accurately filed, construction drawings are reviewed, and project information is kept up to date and accessible to key stakeholders.
  • Acting as a first point of contact for clients by managing the company inbox, responding to queries, and directing calls where necessary.
  • Supporting site teams with administrative tasks including preparing site packs, checking paperwork, coordinating health and safety documentation, and resolving day-to-day queries.
  • Visiting project sites to gather updates and information relating to ongoing works and developments.
  • Liaising with subcontractors to confirm time sheets and deal with general enquiries.
  • Working collaboratively across internal departments to ensure efficient daily operations and clear communication.
  • Demonstrating strong attention to detail and the ability to work effectively within a fast-paced and varied environment.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar administrative or coordination role and will be comfortable managing multiple priorities within a busy setting. Strong organisational and communication skills are essential, alongside a proactive and professional approach. Applicants should possess solid IT skills, and previous experience within the construction sector would be advantageous.

The package on offer includes a competitive salary of £27,000-£29,000 depending on experience, standard working hours of Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm, and on-site parking. Additional benefits can be discussed further with Honeycomb.
