Financial Planning Success Associate

Belfast | Remote & Flexible Working Available | Competitive Salary + Equity Options

Honeycomb is delighted to be partnering with an exciting Belfast-based Tech business as they continue to grow their team.

This is a genuinely unique opportunity for someone from an IFA, Wealth Management or Financial Planning background who enjoys the technical side of financial advice but is looking for something different from a traditional advisory support role.

Working at the intersection of financial services and technology, you'll help some of the UK's leading advice firms adopt innovative AI-driven solutions that streamline processes, improve client outcomes and reduce administration.

The Role

You'll become the bridge between financial advisers, paraplanners and technology, helping firms successfully implement and maximise the value of the platform.

Using your experience of the advice process, you'll work closely with clients to support on-boarding, training and ongoing success. You'll understand the challenges advisers and support teams face because you've likely been there yourself.

This role would suit someone who has experience producing suitability reports, carrying out research, preparing illustrations and calculations, supporting advisers and navigating the regulatory requirements of the UK advice market.

Alongside supporting clients, you'll also play a key role in shaping future product development by providing practical insight from a real-world financial planning environment.

The Person

To be considered, you will ideally have:

  • Experience working within an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA) environment.
  • Experience producing suitability reports and client recommendation documentation.
  • Knowledge of pensions, investments, protection and wider financial planning.
  • Experience carrying out technical research, calculations and illustrations.
  • A strong understanding of adviser workflows and FCA suitability requirements.
  • Excellent communication skills and the confidence to work directly with clients.
  • A genuine interest in technology and how AI can improve the financial advice process.

Level 4 Diploma qualifications would be highly advantageous, although practical experience within an IFA environment is considered essential.

The Package

  • Highly competitive salary.
  • Equity/share options available.
  • Fully remote working available following initial on-boarding.
  • Flexible working arrangements.
  • Potential four-day working week.
  • Direct exposure to senior leadership and decision makers.
  • The chance to help shape technology that is changing the financial advice sector.
