Honeycomb is delighted to be recruiting a HR Administrator within the Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service. This role is basked in Cookstown, and is for 6 months initially, with the potential for extension.

Package: Hourly rate £16.68

Hours: 36.25 hours per week

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting the delivery of operational learning and development across the organisation. Working as part of a dynamic Learning & Development team, you will help ensure our people have access to high-quality training, innovative digital learning solutions and effective learning systems that support operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide professional administrative and front-of-house support to the Learning & Development Centre
  • Support the delivery and coordination of operational learning and development activities
  • Act as a key contact for Learning Management System (LMS) users, providing helpdesk support and troubleshooting assistance
  • Assist in the creation and development of digital learning materials and online training resources
  • Produce management reports and maintain accurate learning records in line with GDPR requirements
  • Liaise with training providers, suppliers and stakeholders across the organisation
  • Support the development of innovative learning solutions and blended learning approaches
  • Assist with contract administration, purchase orders, invoices and finance tracking
  • Help maintain high standards of customer service and organisational support

Essential Criteria:

  • A HNC-level qualification in a relevant subject (e.g. Business Administration, IT, Multimedia)

AND

  • 2 years' experience in a Learning & Development or administrative role

OR

  • 5 GCSEs (Grade C or above or equivalent), including English and Maths,

AND

  • 5 years' experience in a Learning & Development or administrative role
