Honeycomb is delighted to be partnering with an established financial services business to recruit an experienced Self-Employed Mortgage Adviser.
This is an excellent opportunity for a CeMAP-qualified adviser who wants to benefit from an established source of customer leads while retaining the earning potential and independence of self-employment.
Operating from a busy branch environment, the successful adviser will build strong relationships with customers and internal referral partners. You will provide compliant mortgage advice, manage applications through to completion and identify appropriate protection and insurance solutions.
The role offers considerable long-term earning potential for a motivated adviser with a proven ability to convert leads and develop lasting customer relationships.

The role

  • Provide professional and compliant mortgage advice.
  • Manage mortgage applications from initial enquiry through to completion.
  • Respond promptly to customer leads and referrals.
  • Research the market and recommend suitable mortgage products.
  • Identify appropriate protection and insurance requirements.
  • Build productive relationships with branch colleagues and referral partners.
  • Maintain accurate and fully compliant customer records.
  • Manage your own pipeline and follow-up activity.
  • Generate repeat business and referrals through excellent customer service.
  • Maintain a consistent and visible presence within the branch.

The person

  • Fully CeMAP qualified.
  • At least two years' experience working as a Mortgage Adviser.
  • A demonstrable record of mortgage sales.
  • Strong understanding of mortgage regulation and compliance.
  • Experience advising on protection products.
  • Commercially motivated and comfortable working on a self-employed basis.
  • Able to manage a pipeline independently and convert supplied leads.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Positive, proactive and professional.
  • Willing to integrate fully with the wider branch team.
