Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and organised administrator to join our client's team, providing administrative support to various departments, engaging with a variety of stakeholders, and playing a crucial role in the smooth operation of the team.

Your Package/Benefits:

  • Salary: £20,000 - £24,000, depending on skills and experience
  • 20 days holiday plus statutory days
  • Pension contribution
  • Sociable working hours: Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm

A Typical Day:

  • Providing administrative support to various departments within the firm, including document preparation, data entry, and record-keeping
  • Handling incoming and outgoing correspondence, such as emails, letters, and faxes
  • Managing appointments and calendars for senior staff members
  • Assisting with the preparation of reports, presentations, and other documents
  • Maintaining electronic and physical filing systems
  • Conducting research and gathering information as required
  • Communicating with clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders in a professional and courteous manner
  • Managing your own work flow, prioritising tasks on a daily basis
  • Any other duties as required by the business

Your Skills:

  • At least 5 GCSE's, including English and Maths
  • At least one years experience working in an administration role
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, with the ability to create and edit documents, spreadsheets, and presentations
  • Experience working as part of a team, with the ability to collaborate effectively and build strong working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate clearly
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks, manage multiple deadlines, and work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • High level of attention to detail
  • A proactive and self-motivated individual, with the ability to problem-solve and work independently
  • A positive and professional attitude, with a commitment to delivering high-quality work
  • Experience in a professional services firm is desirable but not essential
