Honeycomb are pleased to partner with Northern Trust to recruit a Band 3 Secretary in Ballymena. This is a full-time temporary position.

  • Location: Ballymena
  • Hours: Full-Time (37.5 hours per week)
  • Hourly Rate - £12.75 with weekly pay
  • Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm

Honeycomb are seeking a highly organised, professional, and motivated Band 3 Secretary to provide comprehensive administrative and secretarial support within a busy office environment. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who enjoys working as part of a team, has strong communication skills, and takes pride in delivering high-quality administrative support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide efficient secretarial and administrative support to managers and staff.
  • Prepare correspondence, reports, and documentation using Microsoft Office applications.
  • Manage diaries, appointments, and meetings as required.
  • Maintain accurate records and filing systems.
  • Manage telephone and email enquiries professionally and courteously.
  • Process and distribute incoming and outgoing correspondence.
  • Ensure confidentiality and data protection standards are always maintained.

Essential Criteria

Applicants must meet either (a) or (b) below:

(a)

  • 4 GCSEs (Grade A*-C), including English Language, or equivalent qualification; AND
  • 1 year's administrative experience in an office environment, including the use of the Microsoft Office suite of packages.

OR

(b)

  • 2 years' administrative experience in an office environment, including the use of the Microsoft Office suite of packages; AND
  • GCSE English Language Grade A*-C or equivalent qualification.

In addition to (a) or (b), applicants must possess:

  • OCR Text Processing (Business Professionals) Level 2 Award

OR

  • RSA Stage II Typing/Word Processing (both parts) or equivalent qualification.
