Cheque Clearing

Honeycomb are delighted to be working in partnership with Danske Bank to Banking Administrators within their Cheque Clearing Department team! 35-hour week, temporary ongoing position.

The Role:
Administration Support within a Cheque Clearing environment. Duties include:

• Daily reconciliations on excel.
• Processing payments.
• Input data accurately and efficiently.
• Administrative processing.
• Daily processing of Bulk lodgements accurately & efficiently to ensure high quality service for both internal & external customers.
• Investigating errors and customer queries.
• Carry out admin duties including maintenance of records, filing, document preparation, quality control checking, mail, basic systems maintenance, preparation of word documents and spreadsheet.
• Customer calling is required in the role.

The Person:

Essential Criteria:

• Good PC skills & experience of working with IT systems including experience in working with data using Excel/Word.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in processing work within timescales and deadlines.
• Experience in dealing with customers & third parties over the phone.
• To work as part of a team sharing knowledge and assisting colleagues as required.
• Recording Statistical Data.

Desirable Criteria:

• Prior experience within banking administration.
• Experience working within a Clearing Department.
• Good experience of running daily reconciliations.
