Honeycomb are delighted to work with Danske Bank on the Corporate Banking Manager position.

What would a typical day look like for you?
As a Corporate Banking Manager within our Corporate and Business Banking team you will develop and sustain our high profile in the GB market with prospective clients, advisory firms & syndication teams, with a purpose of acquiring and managing new profitable customers from the FTSE and AIM listed market. You'll drive potential new opportunities via engagement with colleagues, clients, advisory firms and syndicated desks in UK banks.
You will enjoy flexible working which is balanced across the Danske Bank Belfast and / or London offices and home working. You will have the opportunity to meet and build relationships with some of the UK's largest Corporate businesses and their top tier advisors. On a daily basis you will be working with an experienced team of corporate banking originators, portfolio coverage, credit, syndication and legal teams to provide attractive funding propositions to both new to bank and existing customers.

As a Corporate Banking Manager you will enhance the profile and reputation of Danske Bank UK in the market by maintaining good relations with key stakeholders. You will also drive the development of current loan syndication capability, whilst also identifying other areas that require further improvement with solutions and project plans.
Your skills:
Essential

• Evidence of successful relationship management experience with large corporate customers and referral partners
• Proven experience of acquiring new business from large corporate customers
• Knowledge and evidence of working with corporate banking products and services
• Have a sound understanding of a variety of business sectors and their financing needs

Preferred

• Experience of lending to and managing FTSE / AIM listed corporate customers, with complex financing requirement's
• 3rd level business related qualification or banking certificate
• A recognised accountancy qualification with post qualification experience
