Honeycomb is delighted to be assisting a Financial Services organisation to secure an Executive Assistant based in their Belfast City Centre Offices.

This business is a professional services body based in Belfast City Centre. They operate across the North and South of Ireland, wider UK and further afield in Europe.

This organisation provides support to other businesses in a consultative based model. They are well known within their sector, with a great culture and a dynamic, cohesive team.

What would a typical day look like for you?

An exciting time to join, you will be working closely with the Managing Director to ensure the smooth running of their day to day.

The things that will keep you the busiest are:

  • Providing administration support to the MD
  • Taking minutes, organising and setting up meetings on behalf of the MD
  • Organising events for the wider business, coordinating both internal staff and external clients
  • Event coordination of all requirements - eg car parks, security, catering, equipment hire etc
  • Coordinating vendors and suppliers daily and weekly
  • Stationery and equipment ordering for the staff
  • Invoicing
  • IT queries and supporting staff where required
  • Office planning and operational changes as required

Your skills:

This role requires you to be proactive, and to look for solutions for any imperfections in the day to day running of the business. Your team will see you as the glue of the office. You will;

  • Have at least 2 years experience in an EA position
  • Enjoy being the go-to within the business
  • Have strong stakeholder engagement experience
  • Have enthusiasm and energy in abundance!
  • Hold strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Have the ability to adapt and think quickly on your feet
