They are looking for someone to bring their passion and enthusiasm to this team. The ideal candidate will be highly proactive and driven, being able to be adaptable and bring their fantastic energy to the office - which is a dog friendly space!
What would a typical day look like for you?
In a small yet tight knit team based in Belfast, you will be responsible for finance administration plus any additional administration duties depending on the needs of the business. You will have the ability to flex to business requirements and a great team mentality.
Some of the responsibilities will be;
- Processing of invoices - supporting on reconciliation of invoices, statements
- Maintenance of sales and purchase ledgers, processing accurately in a timely manner
- Daily bank reconciliation
- Supplier account queries, resolving disputes and any other issues
- Issuing PO numbers and weekly debtors report, following up with this
- Processing staff expenses
- Reconciling company credit cards
- Assisting with the preparation of VAT Returns and EC Sales Lists
- Assisting in the preparation of management and financial accounts
- Additional finance administration support as needed
- Providing administration support to the CEO and Company Directors when necessary
Your skills:
- A strong interest in finance, business, or administration
- Minimum 1 year experience in a finance focused administration role
- Proactive, being able to work with direction and own initiative
- Ability to learn new systems and a desire for continuous development
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organised with the ability to pick tasks up with ease
