Honeycomb is delighted to be recruiting a Finance Assistant to join our team. As Finance Assistant, you will play an integral role in the successful operations team, and be responsible for all aspects of finance administration. Excellent basic salary + bonus + hybrid working + benefits
Honeycomb is a boutique, locally owned recruitment agency specialising in Business Support recruitment. Since our launch in 2017, we have increased from a team of 3 to our current team of 24 (and growing). We operate in a very dynamic environment, supporting clients across the Island of Ireland and the expertise of our operations and finance team has been instrumental to our continued success.
As Finance Assistant in Honeycomb, you will be working within the wider Operations team with support from the Group finance function. Day to day, you will be responsible for all aspects of the finance administration including:
- Payroll processing
- Sales Ledger
- Purchase Ledger
- Bank Reconciliations
- Credit Control
- Margin reporting
- Dealing with customer queries (internal and external)
The role offers a high degree of autonomy and as such, you should have previous experience working within a fast paced, commercially focused finance role. As a technology focused business, we have invested in a range of front and back office systems, so in addition to having strong MS Office skills (particularly Excel), you should be comfortable embracing technology.
As Finance Assistant, you will be required to liaise with our customers on a regular basis and as such should have a strong customer focus, and communicate effectively.
We offer an excellent basic salary, quarterly bonuses, a comprehensive benefits package, hybrid working (3 days in office and 2 days WFH), plus the opportunity to undertake professional qualifications.
