Funded Project FTC – Income Gen Manager & Engagement Lead; Dungannon

Honeycomb Jobs is delighted to be exclusively working with Speedwell Trust on 2 x exciting funded 2 Year FTC Positions: An Income Generation Manager and a Communication & Engagement Lead. These part time roles could be considered as a full-time post for a candidate bringing suited experience. Excellent package with potential extension to Permanency.

The Client - Based throughout the beautiful surrounds of the Parkanaur Forest Park, Dungannon; The Speedwell Trust is a highly credible charity with a focus on bringing children together from different faiths, to build relationships and to break down barriers through their shared education programmes and family support work. With a continual emphasis of a continual growth strategy; they have four key areas of focus: Shared Education, Eco-education, Well-being and Family Support.

Income Generation Manager (0.6 FTE) This credible position is a new role within the charity designed to support the implementation of key strands of the charity's new Income Strategy, which has been developed to support greater financial resilience and greater sustainability. In a part time capacity this role would be 21 hours and will report to the Interim Manager.

Communications and Engagement Lead (0.4 FTE)This credible position is a new role within the charity designed to increase their profile and public awareness of their work, and to support the implementation of the charity's new Income Strategy, which has been developed to support greater financial resilience and greater sustainability. In a part time capacity this role would be 14 hours and will report to the Income Generation Manager.

The Person As the successful candidate you will have the following background and experience:

Essential:

Income Generation Manager: At least 3 years' experience in developing and delivering income generation activity in the voluntary sector or in a comparable field with a track record of achieving measurable growth in income.Thorough understanding of the regulatory environment for fund-raising in the UK including data protection, Gift Aid and the fund-raising codes of practice.At least 2 years' experience of managing people (direct reports and/or volunteers)

Communication & Engagement Lead: At least 3 years' experience working in a marketing/communications/stakeholder engagement environment.Demonstrable experience of digital and campaigns; social media.

Desired:

• Applicable Degree: Education; Business or Communications relative
• More than 5 years' experience in one or more of the following areas of fundraising - Corporate Fundraising, Community Fundraising and Individual Giving; Comms or Engagement Role
• Subject Matter Experience knowledge of the Education Sector
• Digital fundraising experience
• Experience of managing a small budget and understanding financial records.
