Honeycomb has partnered with a charitable organisation in the recruitment of a Fundraising and Development Officer with a starting salary of between £29,000 - £31,000.

- Developing relationships with new and existing funders, clients and partners, maintaining these and developing strategies to successfully reach new opportunities
- Identifying new markets, clients, partnerships, products and services
- Developing an Income Generation Plan including, statutory, corporate, trusts, foundations and other sources of income
- Completing submission of funding applications
- Prepare and deliver presentations for incoming generations and marketing purposes to existing and potential funders and donors
- Assist in the development of marketing collateral for fundraising purposes
- Representing the organisation at meetings and public events
- Reviewing the efficiency of income generation and other business development activity
- Continually aim to improve the tender responses and bid development processes
- Providing reports on income generation, presenting to the Senior Management Team
- Maintain accurate records in accordance with GDP
- Actively seek to improve, eager to develop and contribute to the overall success of the organisation
- Minimum 2 years' experience of successful income generation
- Experience of developing relationships, networking and maintaining partnerships
- Experience assisting in the pipeline development of potential income
- Ability to plan and organise own workloads while dealing with competing demands
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience completing tasks within tight timeframes, maintain strong attention to detail
- Proficient in using IT systems, knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Office packages
- Hold a full driving licence
