Insurance Account Manager

The Company:

The Client is the largest independent Insurance Broker in Northern Ireland, offering insurance packages to commercial, industrial and professional clients. They pride themselves on providing exceptional customer service to high-net clients. Working in a Belfast city centre location, with a sociable, inclusive, and dynamic team.

Your Responsibilities:

• Placement of commercial risks within the market
• Provide expert and prompt advice to clients regarding their insurance needs
• Liaise as appropriate with insurer partners
• Advise upon changes in perceived risk exposures
• Maintain the highest quality of customer service levels by prompt, customer-focused, professional servicing of client accounts by efficient Mid-Term-Adjustments and customer queries
• Identify a client's risk management objectives
• File Management - ensure individual client cases are completed promptly, effectively, accurately and fully
• Ensure client confidentiality is maintained and protected at all costs
• Comply with all company policies and procedures

Person Specification:

• 3 years account handling experience within the commercial and/or Personal Lines sector
• At least 5 GCSEs, including Maths and English at grade C or above
• Experience dealing with a large client base on risks of various sizes and complexity
• You will be a highly driven and service lead insurance professional with great business acumen
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to communicate with people at all levels using a variety of communication channels
• Focused on obtaining the best possible outcome for clients at all times
• Risk aware in handling client information
