Honeycomb is delighted to be assisting our client, a leading law firm, with the recruitment of an Office Manager/Bookkeeper. This is a wonderful opportunity to join a fantastic team in Belfast City Centre, on a full time, permanent basis.

The Client

Our client provides professional services such as Personal Injury Claims, Employment Law, Medical Negligence, Conveyancing and Wills and Probate.

The Role

The Office Manager/Bookkeeper will provide help and support in the running of the office daily. Typical responsibilities will include:

  • To compile and coordinate management information for the office and central functions.
  • Provide support to the management team.
  • To provide general administration support.
  • Ensure compliance, conducting regular checks and risk assessments.
  • Monitor the health and safety of the office.
  • Liaise and support colleagues to liaise with central HR.
  • Conduct inductions of new staff.
  • To lead, motivate, train, guide and supervise a team of Administration Assistants.
  • Provide regular feedback, performance, reviews, and appraisals.
  • To assist in the preparation of the office expenditure budget.
  • Completion of bookkeeping duties.
  • To coordinate all invoices coming into the office.
  • To liaise with different teams internally and externally.
  • To work on the billing, expenses, and budgets within the business.
  • To liaise with different teams internally and externally.
  • To support the national heads in arranging, preparing, and collating papers to deal with actions.

Essential Criteria

  • Effective organisational skills.
  • Previous experience working in a secretarial/administrative role.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Knowledge of HR, payroll, and finance procedures.
  • Bookkeeping experience.


Competitive salary up to £35k, depending on skills and experience.
