Honeycomb is delighted to assist our client, a well-established, and growing Financial co-operative organisation in building out their Senior Leadership Team, with the recruitment of Operations Director. Working closely to the Chief Executive Officer, this is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the overall development and delivery of the Organisational Strategy within a professional and fast-paced environment.

Role:
The main responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:
*Demonstrating a high level of partnership with CEO and Finance Director in the delivery of strategic priorities and operational excellence.
*Providing strong operational direction to the management team and employees to ensure timely and full delivery of strategy.
*Tracking performance of operational plans, ensuring corrective action plans are in place where performance falls behind scheduled delivery.
*Preparing reports as necessary for CEO and Board and deliver reports where required, including budgetary reporting.
*To oversee and deliver the organisation's approach to Corporate Social Responsibility including the development of appropriate initiatives with relevant communities and stakeholders.
*Managing and coordinate the development of policies and required internal auditing.
*Demonstrating a proactive approach to the identification of 'risks' within the business, outlining recommendations on how these might be addressed.
*Ensuring a business continuity plan exists in the event of disrupted services.
*Role model an empowering leadership style that incorporates the values of collaboration respect, accountability, and high performance.
*Identify, as required by CEO, continuous improvement operational plans and deliver agreed plans within budget and agreed timelines.
*Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety legislation and best practice.
*Input to the corporate communications strategy, branding, marketing, and PR.
*Carry out any other duties that may be required which are aligned with the main purpose of your job and/ or as delegated by the CEO.

Criteria:
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
* Exceptional leader and manager skills with a proven track record in managing day to day operations whilst appreciating operational alignment with the broader business strategy for growth and excellence.
* Highly competent management and organisational skills in a dynamic multi-site setting.
* Exceptional organisational skills and experience in coordination of system, policy, and process review to provide tangible added value in efficiency and cost.
* Consistent career progression leading toward a minimum of five years' full-time experience at Management or Director level, within the last eight-year period including having effectively managed a team of at least three people.
*Prior Experience in a Senior Operations role within a financial service organisation and Operations management experience requiring compliance with a range of regulatory frameworks beyond Health & Safety are desirable.

Package:
Salary is a set starting amount, that will be reviewed when in role.
