Honeycomb is working exclusively with our client, a Global Tech company based in Belfast, with the recruitment of an Operations & People Lead. This is a full time and permanent position with a competitive salary of £40-£50K plus benefits. This role would suit a self starter with excellent people management skills.

The Company

A Global Tech company based in Belfast city who provide a Data Management Platform for Healthcare Insurance policies in the US. Globally they have 120 headcount and are building out the operation here in Belfast. The Operations & People Lead will be responsible for day to day office management as well as assisting with recruitment, onboarding and creating a 1st class company culture.

The Role

This will be a varied role, looking after day to day operations, assisting with growing the company and culture and managing international communication between the US and Belfast. Duties will include:

  • Office management - your role is important in ensuring the efficient running of the office, and you must be comfortable working with colleagues from all areas of the business including sales, risk, finance, tech and operations
  • Arranging travel and accommodation requirements for the team in a cost-effective manner
  • Liaising with facility management vendors, including cleaning, catering, and security services as required
  • Draw insights from data to improve processes, employee engagement and policy alignment across the business
  • Arranging quarterly employee events including the event management of guest lists, venues and catering
  • Handling any other administrative tasks and support requirements that may be required on a timely basis
  • Partner with Engineering leads to support talent acquisition and promoting the company as an excellent place to work in Northern Ireland and the UK.
  • Own the employee life cycle from recruitment, onboarding, and managing employee experience.
  • Partner with leaders and managers to build and maintain a strong company culture that attracts & retains talent on any people related matters, policies, or procedures
  • Partner with the key leaders during the performance review cycle to manage the company wide process, providing reporting & insights,
  • Own all People related materials, ensuring that all our documentation & handbooks are constantly up to date with the latest company processes & mandatory policies

  • Manage HR tools and systems to help simplify HR processes throughout the employee lifecycle

Essential Criteria

  • Ideally have at least two years experience in an operational background with a string HR focus and ideally within a start-up / scale-up organisation.
  • Excellent project management and communication skills, with experience in operational project delivered, plus strong data analytic skills
  • Experience of HR processes and systems
  • Experience in the tech sector would be ideal, but not essential.
  • CIPD qualified or working towards CIPD qualification.

Package

  • Salary for this role is £40 - £50K depending on skills and experience
  • 25 days holiday + Stats + half day on a Friday
