Honeycomb is delighted to be partnering exclusively with a leading UK Financial Advisory firm to recruit a Regional Performance & Operations Manager for their Belfast office. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity for a commercially driven professional with a Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning and proven experience leading, developing and motivating high-performing teams. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving business growth, operational excellence and adviser performance across the region.
About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced and commercially minded Performance and Operations Manager to lead the development, growth and operational effectiveness of a regional wealth management office.
This is a broad leadership role with responsibility for business performance, adviser development, operational excellence and strategic growth. You will work closely with advisers and support teams to drive productivity, improve client outcomes and ensure the successful delivery of regional business plans.
The role would suit an individual with strong experience in wealth management, financial advice or professional services who combines commercial acumen with strong people leadership and operational capability.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Leadership & Growth
- Create and deliver regional business plans aligned to strategic objectives
- Drive profitable growth, adviser productivity and Funds Under Management (FUM)
- Monitor business performance and deliver against P&L targets
- Identify opportunities for organic growth, cross-selling and client retention
- Support local marketing initiatives and development of professional introducer relationships
Adviser & Team Development
- Lead, coach and support advisers and operational staff across the region
- Manage recruitment, succession planning and capability development
- Conduct regular performance reviews and implement development plans
- Build a high-performance culture focused on collaboration, accountability and client outcomes
- Provide guidance through challenging conversations and change initiatives
Operational Excellence
- Drive operational efficiency and continuous improvement initiatives
- Support technology adoption, user acceptance testing and process implementation
- Develop scalable regional operating models and hub integration
- Ensure robust MI reporting, benchmarking and performance analysis
- Promote consistency and best practice across teams and processes
Risk & Governance
- Identify business quality, operational and compliance risks
- Support adherence to regulatory requirements and internal governance frameworks
- Maintain strong oversight of advice standards and client outcomes
About You
The ideal candidate will be a confident and credible leader with strong experience within wealth management or financial advice. You will bring:
- Proven experience managing business performance and delivering against commercial objectives
- Strong understanding of wealth management and the financial advice process
- Experience leading, coaching and developing high-performing teams
- Demonstrable operational and process improvement capability
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present management information
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills
- Experience managing change, technology adoption or operational transformation initiatives
- Sound judgement, critical thinking and decision-making capability

- Up to £75,000 per annum
