Honeycomb is delighted to partner with a growing and ambitious Insurance Brokerage, to recruit for a Personal Lines Account Executive, to join their high performing team in Monaghan. The role is full time and permanent and offers excellent opportunity for career advancement as the company continues to grow. The role would suit an ambitious and sales focused individual with at least 1 years experience in Personal Lines.
The Company
The Company are a growing Insurance company that have ambitious plans to expand their operation in Ireland. They currently have an office in Meath and Monaghan. The role of Personal Lines Account Executive sits within their Monaghan office.
The Role
The purpose of this role to oversee personal lines sales in insurance, covering car, home, and van policies. Responsibilities include quoting, compliance, converting quotes to policies, managing client files, liaising with stakeholders and insurers, efficiently handling adjustments, ensuring compliance, collaborating with management for innovation, cross-selling, lead generation, customer rapport building, and meeting retention targets. Typical duties include -
- Responsible for quoting car, home, and van insurance following best practices and compliance guidelines.
- Convert quotes to active policies, issue documentation, and maintain client files.
- Liaise with stakeholders, management, and insurers to secure optimal policies for clients.
- Perform mid-term adjustments efficiently and meet tight deadlines.
- Ensure 100% compliance with policy documentation issuance.
- Collaborate with management, bringing new ideas and efficiencies to the team.
- Assist in cross-selling products and generating leads for other departments.
- Engage and build rapport with customers, becoming their primary contact for insurance needs.
- Retain customers throughout the renewal cycle, meeting retention targets.
Essential Criteria
- At least 1 year experience working in a competitive Insurance sales environment
- APA qualified
- Competent and confident personal lines sales agent
