Honeycomb is partnering with a prestigious global law firm to recruit for a Project Manager to work within their facilities Department with ownership for all aspects of technical services. The role is full time and permanent with opportunity for career progression.
The Client
The client is a prestigious Global Law firm with Grade A office space in Dublin city. They are known for their inclusive culture and are a true leader in their field, representing some of the world's biggest names in the Finance and Technology sector.
The Role
As a Project Manager within the Facilities Department, you will report directly to the Head of Facilities in our Dublin Office. You will manage all planned maintenance, reactive maintenance, energy management and specialist suppliers in our Dublin Office.

This role includes but not limited to:

  • Managing a range of vendors including lighting, electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, BMS, fire safety, lifts, generators and building maintenance work vendors
  • Being responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of all building related documents, drawings, and system certification
  • Being the technical risk management lead for all business continuity and disaster recovery planning
  • Being the technical lead on all small plant upgrades and providing input to future capital projects from an operational perspective
  • Reviewing all external Risk Assessments and Method Statements in advance of planned works and leading on all internal Risk Assessments for maintenance tasks within the building ensuring a safety-first approach.
  • Supporting Health and Safety ensuring compliance of all assets and equipment
  • Managing and inputting into the annual hard services budget
  • Participating in supplier evaluation with the Head of Facilities and contributing to selecting suitable suppliers at relevant tender stages
  • Developing and managing SLAs and KPIs ensuring good contract management practice
  • Management of all hard services helpdesk requests with a hands-on approach ensuring all tasks are addressed and actioned promptly
  • Being part of our Environmental Sustainability Committee and supporting environmental initiatives
  • Responding to out of hours calls for facilities related issues
  • People management to include managing a small team
  • Providing ad hoc support to our UK and regional offices
  • Providing ad hoc soft services support covering periods of leave

About the person

  • You have a mechanical, electrical, building services engineering or equivalent qualification
  • You have a strong track record in the management and co-ordination of hard services delivery in a busy corporate environment
  • You are experienced in small and large capital refurbishment projects
  • You are an experienced vendor manager, someone who can build effective relationships and have previously been involved in tendering for hard services
  • You are highly client focused, a polished communicator with a 'can-do' attitude
  • You can deal with a range of competing priorities and have good stakeholder management skills; and
  • You are hands on with excellent administration, IT and reporting skills.
