The Role

This is a varied and fast-paced role supporting senior Partners and Associates within the firm's Projects & Construction team. You will provide high-level administrative support, ensuring the smooth running of the practice while delivering an exceptional service to both clients and colleagues.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing complex diaries, meetings and extensive travel arrangements.
  • Producing, formatting and amending high-quality legal documentation from digital dictation and handwritten drafts.
  • Taking ownership of the monthly billing process for your allocated Partners.
  • Preparing business development materials for client meetings, including research, client biographies and company information.
  • Managing emails, calendars and contacts efficiently.
  • Updating and reporting on business development activity through the firm's CRM system.
  • Maintaining accurate electronic filing and document management systems.
  • Providing general administrative support including printing, scanning, photocopying and post.
  • Acting as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring a professional and efficient service.
  • Providing support and holiday cover across the wider PA team, alongside other ad hoc duties as required.

Essential Criteria

  • Minimum of 4 years' experience as a Legal PA or Legal Secretary supporting senior stakeholders within a busy professional services environment.
  • Experience working with document management, billing and digital dictation systems.
  • Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise a busy and varied workload.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A flexible, proactive approach with the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Ability to work with complete discretion and maintain confidentiality at all times.
  • A collaborative team player who is willing to support colleagues when required.
  • A genuine desire to continue learning and developing professionally.
